Panasonic Support Wildphotos 2008 with a Projector Loan

The Wildphotos photography symposium showcased the work of some of the world's finest wildlife photographers in the Royal Geographic Society's London base, using a Panasonic PT-D10000 to ensure the images were reproduced to the very highest quality.

Panasonic has been a long time supporter of Wildscreen, a charitable foundation set up to promote conservation through wildlife imagery, loaning projectors for a variety of the trust's annual events.

Daniel Rose, category manager for Panasonic Projector Division explains: "We are a proud sponsor of Wildscreen and everything they do. Our projectors bring a real value to the events as the images are reproduced at excellent quality on a huge scale and a Wildscreen event is a sight to be seen for fans of photography! The PT-D10000 is great for this kind of application as it's a very high resolution projector."

The two-day event covered topics from ‘How to get published' and ‘The power for conservation', from keynote speakers that had travelled from all corners of the globe.

Keynote speaker and internationally renowned photographer Jim Brandenburg commented: "I have never seen my photographs reproduced on a finer projector and that is all important when you are giving a presentation about your work on this scale."

Richard Edwards, Director from Wildscreen said: "We chose to use the Panasonic PTD10000 because of the high contrast ratio it brought to the pictures together with accurate colour reproduction. This makes sure the picture content is seen just as the photographers had hoped, which is vital to our events."
